Phoenix, Arizona

A collaborative effort between two Arizona mayors, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell, in conversation with nationally known bullying expert Brad Snyder. They will discuss the effects of bullying and methods to increase awareness with the goal of stopping bullying in Arizona.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell and Brad Snyder participated in a video conversation regarding bullying. For these individuals, putting an end to bullying is everyone’s responsibility. That is why they joined forces with more than 200 mayors from across the United States to work together to combat bullying in our schools.

Phoenix and Tempe are excited to be part of this national effort, and look forward to creating real solutions for our local school districts.

Our mission is to end all forms of bullying, and we are starting by raising awareness of the issue. In the programs you are about to watch, you will hear from both bullies and victims, and learn about the devastating impact bullies have on our kids and schools.

With your support, we are going to step up to the bullying problem – because every child deserves to learn and thrive in a safe and friendly environment.
